What does Global Citizens Circle do?

We have bold conversations that lead to sustainable change.

We generate action through dialogue.

We support peace initiatives from the grassroots up.

We celebrate more than 50 years of dialogue between

ordinary people doing extraordinary things, world leaders & Nobel prize winners!

Understanding isn't handed down. It's built, circle by circle.

I love that Global Citizens Circle is a space where you can come together with youth and experts in their fields to share experiences and talk about solutions and ideas for getting involved.

WHAT?

"By bringing together some of our best thinkers and experts with opinion leaders and concerned citizens, the Circle has become an invaluable resource for educators and policy-makers alike."

CELEBRATING 50 YEARS
OF GLOBAL CITIZEN CIRCLES

For more than 50 years, we've brought people together for meaningful conversations that encourage understanding and positive change. Since 1974, Global Citizens Circle has created spaces where people of all ages, backgrounds, and perspectives can connect, listen, and learn from one another. Our work continues to focus on social justice issues such as human rights, education, sustainability, and community action. Through our Circles, we bring together leaders, educators, and community members who share a commitment to open dialogue towards a more just and peaceful world.

1974

Founded in New Hampshire, the first Circle gathers around the table for constructive dialogue.

1980s

Circles convene voices across the anti-apartheid movement and beyond.

2000s

The conversation expands to human rights, education, and sustainability.

2020

Circles go global online, anyone, anywhere can pull up a chair.

Today

50+ years strong, with emerging leaders carrying the circle forward.

"We have the power to inspire change."
